Wow Chilly Fast

Got down  to 16 degrees up here on upper Ravens Branch!

At least im burnin wood and not the propane this year!!

I went out the other mornin and found some of the prettiest sights, so of course i took some shots for everybody to look at!!


I bout drove off the road when i came around the corner and seen this!!



On up the road at the head of Grassy I found this one.

Fall colors and snow tops.....WOW

Well any way was a beautiful mornin!!!!

   Hello all and welcome back to my "blog".!?!

Ive been working on restoring my system after getting wild blue internet service

Threw a huge wrench in my system!

Requiring a total reformat to make it all "play together"

Now however i have won the battle!!!!

Everything seems to be all set now,(im sure it is just a delusion?)!

I have also been doing some photo restoration, and it has been going pretty well!!

Could spend DAYS on this one,(it is far from perfect!

This is a picture of James Ford and Mary Jane Ford, who were some of the earliest Grassy Fork Settlers!

I would suppose it is from the late1800's!

Also we had Fire Safety Day at school!

It was AWSOME!!!!




Nobody got wet or anything!!

   The website is almost "finished" and everything is lookin good!
However I am realizing that it will never be done. As I am making important connections around the community, and county, I am coming to realize that I will be doing a lot of my "work" sitting right here!! So looking forward to getting into some animated advertising, and graphic design!!!!  Any way keep checking back for updates!

  Took the Vanessa K. driving class for the fire dept. yesterday. Very good course on emergency driving, and emergency response. Rusty from the Newport Rescue Squad, taught the course as the rain pounded the building. So when you hear the siren and see the lights, there is a good chance it will be me! Be relax I will be rollin in control because you got to arrive in one piece to do the job correctly. Besides do you want 40,000 lbs. rolling down Big Creek at 50 mph.? I don't think so!

We burned a 100 year old house, it got a little hot for a few minutes!!!!
I had to move my video camera 150 ft. or more away to keeo it from melting!!

It was a great burn, lots of training.

Also we had the Wellness One helicopter come to the fire hall for some hands on training for firefighters across the county.




About 40 people showed up to see the helicopter and crew.

Other than that i have been working on getting the website up!

It wont be long and we will all have somthing on the web for sale!!!

Im excited i dont think anybody else has much faith.... but we will see.!.

Anyway i hope somebody else besides me looks at this.

  well i found out today that the lumber im gonna have sawed is still 200 a 1000 board feet!!!

woow

i figured it would be double if he was still doin it at all.


so i have a month to get 2000 board feet down and ready and get the cash together.!.

so ill be in the woods....
